Well we are now in our third month of trading, and things seem to be going really well, we have had a few repeat customers, and some amazing comments and feedback on our products.  This month I’m really chuffed to say that “Cesar Milan’s dog team on Twitter, seem to be great fans of ours and love to retweet and favourite our posts.  Can’t believe the word has spread so far feels like our first major publicity achievement!!

If you are anything like me and love to look at photos rather than words, then Pinterest is fab!! Its such a great site where you can find some amazing images of just about anything!!

Therefore it would only be right for Eco Dog Designs to have their own Pinterest page.  Im always adding new pins and boards!! Some to show our products, some to show our customers (your favourite pooches) wearing some great Eco Dog Design Products, there is also handy tips and advice for any dog owner – come take a look!!

Over the past three months we have launched new products, seatbelts, dog coats and harnesses, which all have been a great success.  Therefore, as part of extending our range I have attended a great leather course by Phenix Studios in Hexham.  Andy was a great teacher, one of his many claims to fame is that specialises in making products for museums and props for TV and film such as Beowulf.

Andy has provided me so many new skills I can’t wait to put into practice, I have even helped him add piece in the book he is currently writing, how exciting!!

The end result will be to create and design hand sewn leather collars and leads.  This was my first session to learn the skills required and make collars, whilst a second session later in the year will extend my knowledge to create leads and learn some more fabulous techniques!!
